How will RFID technology play its role in gas stations?
With the widespread popularity of cars, the operating load of gas stations has been rising. The management of gas stations is very important, and how to make the working efficiency of gas stations more efficient has been a constant exploration and concern. RFID application technology has many advantages such as non-contact, fast identification, adjustable working distance, accurate collection and good environmental adaptability, which effectively improves the data entry method and improves the operating efficiency of gas stations. How will RFID play its role in gas stations?

The RFID reader is installed on the gas station to realize data communication with the gas station. The reader is connected to the network through TCP/IP or RS485 bus (or other data bus), and can also communicate and network through wireless transmission network. It is connected to the management computer placed in the gas station business hall through the gas station data concentrator, and the RFID gas station information management system software is installed on the management computer. The system software can realize the automatic refueling function. For each refueling, the card can be used to complete it. The system identifies the vehicles entering the gas station, and the vehicles matching the gas card have the right to refuel. One car and one card are used for refueling. The matching is basically one-to-one, but one-to-many or designated single card refueling is allowed through permission management.
An RFID electronic tag is installed on the motor vehicle. When the motor vehicle enters the gas station, it is identified by the reader installed next to the gas station. The electronic tag information read by the RFID reader is sent to the back-end control room of the gas station. The control room authorizes the electronic tag for refueling and adds it to the system database, which stores the license plate number, driver information, entry time, card balance, pre-fueling amount and other related information of the refueling motor vehicle. The gas station uses wireless mode to connect to the computer. Once the vehicle-mounted tag is authorized, the system can send a refueling amount data to the gas station through wireless mode. After confirmation, the gas station can perform the refueling operation. The system transmits the detailed information of the motor vehicle in the form of a list to the PCU system in the gas station for display.
